On the 9th of this month, the Tanzanian WCB signed artist, Mbosso, dropped his debut solo album tilted Definition Of Love. This came as a surprise for all of us since he never dropped a clue.
The 12 track album features a number of artists from Uganda, Tanzania and Nigeria including his boss Diamond Platnumz, his label mate Rayvanny, Flavour, Spice Diana, Darassa and a bonus track featuring Baba Levo.
The album has been received positively with very honourable mentions. Producers who prepared it include Lizer Classic, Abba Process, Abby Daddy, S2kizzy, Kapipo and the Mombasa based producer Shirko who played the violins.
Typical of him, he has come of age with the sweet melodies enriched with the rich coastal flavour and culture. Most notable is the songwriting which is top notch with riddles and sayings. It’s tackles matters love from falling in love to heartbreaks. It’s perfect for weddings and ceremonies and it’s already on high rotation on mainstream and social media.
He has dropped the first visual off the album for the track Yallah. It is available now on all streaming platforms.
